I have been walking around on the moon with my Furman University classmate Bud Moon. He has written his observations of life in a delightful book. His stories are funny, charming, sentimental, and loaded with all kinds of statistics – useful and otherwise. Bud has a subtle sense of humor. It is a book that you can give your mother or Aunt Martha without the slightest worry about offending the receiver.

            Bud and Juanita live on Lake Hartwell. You can get a copy of the book, which will make an excellent Christmas present by sending him a check for $20. I don’t know how much the postage is. Actually the book is $19.95, but send him the $20. It won’t kill you and Bud could use the nickel. I had rather you buy my book, but you will get more laughs from his. I always was too serious.
